The Air Hawk is a great alternative to the conventional gel seat pads. Having the ability to adjust the amount of air that is in the pad, the rider can tailor the comfort to their specific riding style. The seat is designed to alleviate hot-spots associated with stock seats. There should only be enough air in the seat pad for the rider’s bottom to maintain contact with the seat, otherwise the rider is sitting on a cushion if air which can act very much like hard foam. With some slight movement in the rider’s seat, blood flow is maintained to the area, holding off the onset of "sore butt".

The AIRHAWK cushion is so effective because it uses ROHO DRY FLOTATION® technology, originally developed to assist in the healing and prevention of pressure sores for wheelchair patients, to ensure that blood flow is maintained. Interconnected air cells allow the cushion to conform to your individual shape and riding posture, thus distributing pressure so you can ride more comfortably.
